E-mail

An e-mail is a way of sending messages and data to other people by means of computers connected together with a network. The word ' e-mail' actually stands for electronic mail. E-mail saves a lot of paper. It has less trouble. Privacy is ensured in e-mail. E-mail transmission is very speedy. It is four times faster than fax and ten times faster than Telex. In an e-mail, we can send different kinds of document. For all these reasons, people prefer e-mail to Telex. 

In spite of all these advantage,it is somewhat difficult to maintain e-mail in a developing country like Bangladesh, because it costs us money. It' needs a computer, network connection and so on to use e-mail. But since most of the people of our country are poor, they cannot afford all these valuable accessories needed for e-mail.

For these reasons,it is still somewhat difficult to maintain e-mail in a developing country like ours.

E- learning

E-learning is the use of electronic media and communication technologies in education. Bernard Luskin, a pioneer of e- learning, says that the 'e' should be interpreted to mean "exciting, energetic, enthusiastic, emotional, extended, excellent, and educational" in addition to ' Electronic'. E-learning includes numbers types of media for delivering text, audio, images, animation and streaming video etc. E-learning can take place in or if the classroom. It is suited to distance learning and flexible learning. There are many advantage in online and computer based learning when compared to traditional face-to-face course and lectures. Class work can be scheduled around work and family. It reduces travel time and transportation costs for students. 

Student's can study anywhere, if they have access to a computer and internet connection. Student's may select their level of knowledge and interest. They can develop knowledge of the internet and computer skills that will help learner's throughout their lives and careers.

Successful completion of online or computer based course builds self-confidence in students. There are a few disadvantages as well. Learner's with bad study habits may fall behind. Student's may feel isolated from the instructor and classmates. Instructor may not always be available when students are studying or need help. However, in addition to traditional learning, e-learning can help learner's in many ways.

Food habits of people in villages and cities in Bangladesh

Bangladesh is a land of villages. There are 85 thousand villages in our country. Apart from villages, there are many towns in our country as well. In fact, the country and the town folks together constitute our population. Bangladesh has a rich cultural heritage.

Eating habit, being a part of this culture, is rich and varied with the use of many spices. Rice is our staple food . It is served boiled with a variety of vegetables, curry, lentil soup,fish and meat. Fish is another principal items of food next to boiled rice . Polao is another item of food common to both rural and urban people. Again, there are some foods like snakes, sweet, pithas etc.  Which are enjoyed by both urban and rural people . However, the village people mostly like pithas, date juice, chira, muri, khai etc. While the town's people mostly like snakes, sandwich, burger, singers, somucha, etc.

 Nowadays, the modern people in our country are fond of different varieties of fast foods like shwarma, grill, fried chicken, french fries etc. That is to say, the rural and urban people vary in their choices of food items in our country.

Electricity is the key driving force of the current world. Continuous and uninterrupted supply of electricity ensures the smith function of daily activities in all speheres of life. However, the failure of electricity at present has become a matter of concern to us. 

Normal life comes to a halt for load shedding. There are two types of Cim: Cable-Modem-Based: Cables with the Cable Modem,CMC, are a newer type that is more efficient and is designed to match the speeds of DSL connections.They also have the advantage of being more stable and reliable. One advantage is that you can getthe highest speeds from a single cable connection, up to 10 Mbit . Cable: a broadband service thatuses coaxial cable to carry the data. This service can offer download speeds up from 4 Mbs to 1 Gbit.Using coax is an easy way to get broadband access. Coax is also used where coax isn't available,like in rural areas .

DSL: In the US, this is often called a telephone service, which includes a line or a number of linesconnecting a central office to your house or office. It uses a connection that has many differentwires to send and receive data at high rates. Although DSL is considered broadband, most DSLconnections are low-bandwidth. Also, DSL does not use the same wire for every data stream.

In most cases, the different lines will carry different streams and your phone company will needto use different cables to attach to each line. An alternative to DSL in the UK is called E-Connect ,an acronym for Enhanced Capability. E*Connector: When your ISP wants to get you online, it mustmake a copy of your computer's operating system and install software on it, allowing it tocommunicate with your modem and modem-box. They will also likely ask you to install applications like Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. This ensures that your data can flow seamlessly over theinternet. Broadband: This is generally a service or data connection where the speed of datatransmission is higher than DSL, as they are both connection-based.

Most providers have access to this kind of service .

The speed varies by speed. (1Gbps = 10 megabits per second, 2G = 100 megabytes per seconds,3G= 1000 megabit persecond, 4G (which is being rolled out) = 1,000 megbaud).

Telecommunications services in production system

No Industry production system can be imagined today without Telecommunication. Large or small industries require communication with different people at different stages, from different suppliers or buyers.  Bangladesh is one the south Asian nations the world map.It is surrounded by India by  three sides of the south nations.

It became independent 1971 through a bloody war of nine months. Dhaka is capital of it. It's land area is 1,47,570 square kilometers and it's population is about 160 millions.

It is a land of rivers. The big rivers are the padma, the Meghna, the Jamuna, the kornofuli etc. It's soil is very fertile . Different kinds of crops like rice, jute, wheat, potatoes, tea and many kinds of fruits like mango, Jackfruit, pine-apple and other juicy fruits are grown here.

Different communities live here in peace and happiness. The natural scenery of our country is very charming and it assumes in different colors in different seasons. Bangladesh is a darling child of nature. Nature has decorated our country with her beauty and glamorour. We have losts of tourists spots and attractive places like cox's Bazar, the Sundarbans, paharpur, Foyes-lake, Kuakata etc. We have glorious past and cultural heritage. As no other country in the world is as beautiful as our loving county, I love my country very much and feel proud of it.
